Big Fat Summer Trip part 1 (of approximately 257)

We left Wednesday, July 22nd. We flew out at 1 a.m. everyone was very tired, obviously. Kenny ended up wrestling with Briggs all night because Kelsey decided in her very tired and ornery state that she wouldn't go to anyone but me. I was grateful Kenny was there! Neither of us slept hardly at all, but we had children sprawled on top of and all around us. We were all glad when we landed in SLC, Utah at 10 a.m. We went and got our rental mini-van and drove to Kenny's sister, Keli's house. We missed her husband Kyle who was on a business trip, but it was so fun to get to know their 3 cute kids better. She was so gracious to let us all come crash there. After lunch, we all took a long afternoon nap. The kids played in the sprinkler and hung out until that evening we went to Pizza Pie Cafe and met up with their brother Ben (and Amanda and their 4 girls). After eating we went and found a park to hang out the rest of the night. 

some people were there and giving away all these free cans of soda, telling us to just take a picture and put it on some social media. But now it's been so long I forgot what kind of pop it was! oops. either way it was quite a tender mercy as all the kids were complaining about being so thirsty then voila! they each got their own free drink! My oldest 3 with Keli and Kyle's kids: Carter, Maylee, and Lyla.
