Webbtons Days 1 and 2

We were lucky enough to have the Webbs come stay with us for a week and a half!! The kids were all counting down the days till their arrival and we were all so excited! Their 3 kids match up pretty well in age with our older 3, so it's always so fun to get together. Plus Steph and I always have a million things to talk about, so I was really anxious for them to come! They flew in on Monday, July 14th. We picked up some Moose's Tooth pizza (of course) and headed to the park to eat it. We let all the kids play for a while before getting in the car. We stopped at Eklutna Lake on the way home. The kids of course set out to build a dam, and enjoyed getting muddy. Leighton was even brave enough to strip down and walk out into the freezing cold water!

There was no editing of these pictures. The grass really is that fluorescent green!

The next day, July 15th, Kenny and Andrew went on a halibut fishing charter out of Whittier, Alaska. They had to get up super-duper early to get there on time, but they had fun and I think they ended up taking about 35 pounds of halibut home with them. Andrew caught the two biggest fish on the boat that day, and the weather and water were just perfect so I'm glad they had a good time. Steph and I just stayed home with the kids and let them have a day to just play and have fun.
