Iditarod 2014

For the third year in a row we got out with the rest of Anchorage to see the annual start of the Iditarod race! It was a beautiful day! Perfect for the race. It also was Kelsey's birthday and she loved seeing all the doggies. The kids had a great time seeing how many high-5's they could get from the contestants. They reached their little hands out as far as they could and hoped for the best. Some didn't, or were busy eating/drinking with one hand and holding onto the sled with the other. But most of them are good sports and appreciate the support and encouragement they receive from everyone. It's a really fun time to see everyone coming together and getting so excited and involved with this. What a fun tradition!

Check out his bear-paw gloves! That oughta keep him warm!

The birthday girl!!
