Christmas Eve

We just spent the day together as a family. We cleaned the house and wrapped a few last minute things we needed. This picture is where we were playing Master Chef Jr. :) The kids were all preparing their dishes for Kenny and I to sample and judge whose was the best. It was pretty funny what they came up with. For example, toast with olive oil and ketchup. or a sandwich inside a cupcake haha.

That night we had a lasagna and garlic bread dinner. We read the story of Christ's birth from the scriptures, but didn't act it out since we'd already done it twice. We opened the traditional Christmas pajamas gift. They were so excited for Santa to come there was absolutely no fighting at bedtime, no one complained about going to bed (early even!). It was awesome :).
Above: Briggs was asleep. Below; he had woken up so we took another shot :)

Then we stayed up getting Christmas ready. Above you can see the tent we made, and below is the balance beam Kenny made. I was happy with both of those fun things. This was our first year wrapping Santa gifts and I have to say, it's a pain in the bum but I like it a lot!

Love those handmade gifts! And I think you should put the slide at the top of your sledding hill for good measure . . . your family is gorgeous

Love the tent and balance beam! Did you follow a tutorial for the tent or just make it up? How cute that your kids play master chef jr. We LOVE that show!! And I was so happy with who won! :) Your kids are all so cute - that pic of them all looking at Briggs is adorable!
